Jim Boyd

Jim Boyd, PhD, has extensive experience in the field of education and training, particularly within the electrical industry. As a Senior Director at Electrical Training ALLIANCE since January 1989, Jim Boyd has spearheaded significant initiatives, including the development of a Core Curriculum model for customized training across 275 programs and a Craft Certification process for evaluating knowledge and skills of individuals affiliated with IBEW and NECA. Additionally, Jim Boyd holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Education from Capella University, along with a PhD in Instructional Design for Online Learning, an Industrial Management degree from Purdue University, and a Master's degree in Human Ecology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Since July 2021, Jim Boyd has retired from active roles.
