Romain Jasseron

Romain Jasseron is an accomplished R&D Director and Project Manager at EFI Automotive since June 2023, overseeing worldwide projects related to sensors and actuators. Prior experience includes serving as Head of R&D at Valeo from September 2018 to June 2023, where Romain managed R&D deliverables for new electric mobility projects involving powertrains and control electronics for various vehicles, along with a significant team in France and India. Romain also held roles at Valeo, including E/E Design & System Manager, where responsibilities encompassed system engineering team management and introducing new electronic products to the market. Earlier professional experience includes a decade at Alstom, where Romain advanced from Product Design Engineer to Product Architect, specializing in on-board Ethernet products and systems. Romain began a career in customer care at IKEA and holds an engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Telecom St-Etienne and additional studies at Tampere University of Technology.
