Anatole Desthieux

Anatole Desthieux is a research engineer at EDF since May 2018, specializing in modeling the long-term equilibrium of electric networks and developing decarbonization strategies for the energy mix in French regions by 2050. Previous experience includes a PhD focused on optimizing passivated contacts in silicon solar cells, and research internships involving the study and optimization of solar cell technologies. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Material Science and Applied Physics from CentraleSupélec, a PhD in Physics of Thin-Films and Interfaces from École Polytechnique, and a Master’s degree in Nanoscience from Université Paris-Saclay. Additional teaching and project experience contribute to a strong background in both academic and practical applications of physics and engineering.
