Edilasio Carlos Benedito Canga is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in technical and strategic project management within demanding sectors such as energy, engineering, oil & gas, and nuclear industries. Currently serving as a Risk Manager, Cost Controller, and Planner for the EPR2 project at EDF, Edilasio leads a PMO team, overseeing complex industrial projects in terms of schedule, budget, risks, and performance. As the owner of a soap factory in Angola, Edilasio conducted a thorough market study to develop a detailed business plan, which included cost evaluations for equipment procurement and installation. Previous roles include Consultant in project management at ECP, where project framing and client needs assessment were key responsibilities, and Project Engineer/Manager at Schlumberger, where Edilasio managed opportunities and project proposals in oil well completions for Sub-Saharan Africa. Edilasio started the career as an engineer trainee at the Institut de la corrosion, focusing on mechanical testing in corrosive environments, and holds two Master's degrees in Materials Chemistry from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and UVHC.
