Maria Faury currently serves as Déleguée permanente au Comité Stratégique Filière Nucléaire (CSFN) at EDF, starting in November 2024. Previously, Maria held various leadership roles at CEA from January 2014 to October 2024, including Directrice Déléguée à la Stratégie Partenariale and Directrice des Programmes et des évaluations. Maria's experience also includes serving as Directrice scientifique for energy and sustainable development at the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research from 2011 to December 2013, and as Chef de Service at IRSN and CEA, overseeing crucial research initiatives in nuclear safety and plasma physics. Maria Faury holds an engineering degree in Physics-Chemistry from ESPCI and has completed several advanced studies in public administration and defense policy.
