Owen Forster

Owen Forster is an experienced leader in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Strategic Finance Programmes and Head of Leadership and Project Management at EDF since 2006, where responsibilities include leading leadership development and strategic initiatives. Forster also holds the position of Pension Trustee Director and Deputy Chair of the Board for EDF’s UK pension schemes, focusing on governance and collaboration between trustees. As the former Head of Renewable Operations, Forster provided oversight for investments in renewable energy and led corporate restructures to enhance efficiency. Previous roles include European Gas Supply Manager and Senior Energy Markets Analyst, showcasing a strong background in energy trading and market analysis. Forster's education includes an MSc in Energy Systems from the University of Oxford and degrees from the University of Nottingham and The Open University.
