Tahar Nabil is an AI Research Scientist at EDF since August 2021, specializing in deep generative models for process design, time series representation learning and generation, and federated learning for time series. Previously, Nabil contributed to EDF's Digital Innovation Team from April 2018 to June 2021, implementing advanced statistical learning algorithms to address energy challenges, including leading a project on optimal process synthesis using machine learning. Prior roles include serving as a Research Engineer at EDF from January 2015 to January 2018, focusing on estimating parameters of energy-efficient building models, and conducting thermal identification research as a Research Intern in 2014. Nabil holds a PhD in Statistical Signal Processing from Télécom Paris and a Master's in Engineering with a specialization in Mathematics and Statistics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
