Prior to this, Valerie served as DPIH Directeur Performances Production Unité de production hydraulique Est and held a position as Responsable adjoint et chef d'équipes for optimisation de la production hydraulique. Valerie's career began at EDF, where from July 1995 to September 2002, a role as DPIH Ingénieur aux GEH Gave de Pau, Oloron, and Rhin Sud was held. Valerie also worked at EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG as Ingénieur responsable de programme de production from October 2002 to October 2004.
