Allen Davison

Allen Davison is a seasoned professional in energy policy and regulation, currently serving as a Principal Analyst - Policy at Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko since October 2023. With extensive experience at the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) since July 2014, Davison has held various roles including Acting Manager and Development Lead for Standards & Regulations, where responsibilities included steering the development of energy-efficient product regulations. Previous positions at EECA include Senior Sector Technology Analyst, focused on building and solar PV policies, and NABERSNZ Technical Specialist. Prior to 2014, Davison led a Technical Centre of Excellence and worked as a Principal and Senior Policy Analyst. Allen Davison holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with First Class Honors in Sociology from the University of Canterbury.
