Joey Au

Joey Au has a diverse work experience history. Their most recent role was as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at the Electricity Authority, where they focused on regulatory oversight of the electricity sector. Prior to this, they held the position of Manager Retail and Network Markets at the same company. Joey also worked as a Principal Advisor at the Electricity Authority. Before joining the Electricity Authority, Joey worked as a Principal Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. Joey also had various roles at the New Zealand Treasury, including Senior Analyst, Senior Advisor to the Chief Economist, and Advisor to the Chief Economist. Additionally, Joey gained experience as an Economist at the OECD - OCDE and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Joey started their career as an Analyst at the New Zealand Treasury and the Ministry of Social Development (MSD).

Joey Au completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Economics from Victoria University of Wellington from 2000 to 2004.
