Adriana Catanase is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for Smart Energy Services at ESB, Catanase leads a team focused on delivering low-carbon energy solutions and innovative technologies, including heat pumps and solar PV. Previous roles include Capability Assurance Manager within ESB Engineering & Major Projects, driving technical competencies in power generation, and Manager of O&M Projects at ESB International, where Catanase provided tailored operations and maintenance solutions globally. In early career roles, Catanase contributed as a techno-economic specialist, conducting extensive technical analyses and assessments across various international projects. With a solid academic background, including a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, Catanase has also served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Oradea, shaping the next generation of energy engineers.
