Ian Chester is a highly experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Commercial Manager at ESB since August 2016, where responsibilities include developing on/offshore wind farms, solar, battery storage, and hydrogen generation in Ireland and the UK. Previously, Ian held key roles such as Senior Contract Manager at Inch Cape Offshore Wind, focusing on a significant offshore wind farm project in Scotland, and held various commercial and project management positions at Boreas Energy Consulting, TRACTEBEL - ENGIE GROUP, Adwen Offshore, DNV, bp, Fichtner Consulting Engineers, Mott MacDonald, and E.ON UK.
