Matt Reid

Matt Reid is an experienced Renewable Energy Performance Engineer and Product Owner at ESB since December 2009, specializing in data analysis and predictive modeling to enhance decision-making in Generation and Trading. With a robust background in project management, Matt has led the integration of Agile methodologies, managed significant projects including a €28m trading initiative, and implemented critical regulatory solutions. Prior experience includes roles in ESB International and BearingPoint Ireland Ltd, where Matt focused on system implementation and business process design. Notable early career contributions were made at Random House UK Ltd and System House Ltd, with foundational training and administrative roles at the UK Civil Service. Matt holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Aided Engineering and Design from Sheffield Hallam University.
