Orlando MacHado

Orlando Machado is a seasoned data leader with extensive experience in data science and analytics across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Data Officer and Vice President at the LEGO Group since 2021, Orlando also holds a senior advisory role at Electrify Video Partners. In addition, Orlando contributes as a Non-Executive Director and member of the Technology Committee at the University of Cambridge and serves on the Chief Data Officer Governing Body at Evanta, a Gartner Company. Previous positions include Group Chief Data Scientist at Aviva and Chief Data Scientist at MoneySuperMarket.com, where strategic data-driven insights were pivotal. Orlando's foundational work in analytics began at WPP and dunnhumby, complemented by a strong educational background with a PhD in Statistics and a BSc in Maths, Operational Research, Statistics, and Economics from the University of Warwick.
