Petrina Thomson

Petrina Thomson has held various roles in the finance and accounting industry since 1996. Petrina began their career at Sun Microsystems, where they held the roles of Senior Director Finance, Global Accounting & Compliance Shared Service, CFO, Latin America, Director Finance, Americas Shared Financial Services, Senior Manager Finance, International Americas Shared Financial Services, and Senior Project Manager, Finance Shared Services. In 2010, Petrina moved to Oracle where they were the Senior Director Finance, Acquisition Integration. Petrina then moved to Tyco in 2012, where they were the Controller, North America; COE Leader. In 2016, Petrina joined Johnson Controls as the Controller, North America Fire & Security. Petrina then moved to CentralSquare Technologies in 2018 as the Vice President, Accounting. In 2019, Petrina joined Curvature as the Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer. Most recently, in 2021, Petrina joined Electriq Power as the Chief Financial Officer and SVP, Chief Accounting Officer.

Petrina Thomson is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia. Petrina also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from The University of Western Australia, where they studied Accounting and Finance.
