Amila Karavita is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the metal pressings and construction industries. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager at Electro Metal Pressings (Pvt) Ltd. since May 2010, Amila has held various leadership roles including Assistant General Manager and Head of Engineering Estimation. Prior to this, Amila worked at Holcim (Lanka) Pvt. Ltd. from February 2004 to May 2010, where positions included Project Engineer and Electrical Engineer-Maintenance. Amila holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, completed in August 2003, and attained GCE Advanced Level qualifications in Mathematics from St. Thomas' College, Matara in 2003.
