Jason MacLennan

Jason MacLennan is an experienced professional in the railway industry with a career spanning from February 1995 to the present. Currently serving as Area Sales for Eastern Canada at Progress Rail, a Caterpillar Company, since January 2016, Jason previously held various roles at Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD), including Area Sales for Western Canada and Program Manager, where responsibilities included managing customer build contracts and cost-saving initiatives. Other positions included Area Manager roles in Operations Readiness, Liaison Engineering, and Supplier Quality, focusing on program launches, issue resolution, and supplier quality management, respectively. Jason began the career as a Project Engineer in Locomotive Design, specializing in structural and equipment design. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, earned between 1989 and 1994.
