Abel Salcido

Abel Salcido has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Abel has held various roles in different industries, including engineering, project management, and customer service.

In 2005, Abel worked as a Student Intern at General Motors, where they compiled reports and presented findings on wheel trims from competitors.

From 2009 to 2012, they served as a Customer Service Manager at Convergys, managing a team of 20 agents and providing coaching on customer service tasks for ATT customers.

Abel then joined State Farm in 2012 as a Bank Response Representative, handling bank-related inquiries for customers.

In 2014, they worked as an Account Executive at The Electronic Caregiver Company, before transitioning to the role of Mechanical Engineer at SameDay Security in 2015. At SameDay Security, they developed new health-related technology, applied machine learning algorithms for fall prevention, and used coding languages to develop the next generation of Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS). Abel was later promoted to the position of Vice President of Engineering in 2016, leading a team of engineers and overseeing project planning and resource forecasting.

In 2017, Abel joined Halliburton as a Mechanical Engineer, providing job design, well support, and post-job analysis for customers. Abel developed and maintained relationships with the technical customer base in their designated area.

From 2018 to 2019, Abel worked as a Project Engineer at Turnkey Processing Solutions, LLC, where they implemented procedures to recover water from mine feed byproduct, optimized chemical usage, and collaborated with a chemical company to find alternative processes to reduce or eliminate caustic water entering the production line.

Abel's most recent role is Director of Engineering at Electronic Caregiver, where they have been serving since 2019.

Abel Salcido completed their high school education at Gadsden High School from 2000 to 2004, focusing on General Education. Abel then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at New Mexico State University, where they attended from 2000 to 2004. In June 2018, Abel obtained a certification as a Flocculant specialist from SNF.
