Martijn van der Heide

Martijn van der Heide is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in advisory and operational roles. Since 2014, Martijn has served as a CERT Specialist at the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), providing advisory for the Digital Service Security Center and previously managing the ThaiCERT services, which encompass incident response and security management. In addition, Martijn holds a part-time position as a Cybersecurity Advisor to the Secretary-General of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), focusing on the establishment and professionalization of the new ThaiCERT. Prior to this, Martijn worked at KPN, where significant contributions included expanding KPN-CERT and achieving accreditation and certification for the team. Martijn's career began at Getronics, where responsibilities included system administration, development, and service design for governmental networks. Martijn holds a Bachelor of Science in Higher Informatics and Telematics from Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
