Shumant Bhattacharya

Shumant Bhattacharya has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Shumant began their career as a Corporate Finance Intern at Bank of Baroda in 2012. Shumant then moved on to work as a Relationship Manager at ING from April 2013 to November 2014. Following this, they joined YES BANK as a Relationship Leader from November 2014 to December 2017. Shumant then joined Tata Capital where they worked as a Senior Manager in Product & Business Development from December 2017 to March 2022, and later as an Assistant Vice President in the same department from April 2022 to February 2023. Currently, Shumant holds the position of Deputy Vice President & National Head- Product at Electronica Finance Limited, starting in February 2023.

From 2018 to 2018, Shumant attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and completed an Executive Leadership Program in the field of corporate finance.

Between 2011 and 2013, Shumant pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the New Delhi Institute Of Management. The degree focused on finance and supply chain & operations management.

Shumant's undergraduate education took place from 2007 to 2011 at Nagpur University, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronics.

In 2010, Shumant participated in an internship program at the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. The internship focused on computer and information sciences and support services.
