He has experience in the field of commercial and corporate law, tax law, arbitration, foreign collaborations, mergers & acquisitions, restructuring and de-mergers.

He is a member of the Bar Council of India, the Bar Council of West Bengal and the Indian Council of Arbitration.

He is a senior most partner of Khaitan & Co., LLP, Advocates & Solicitors firm.

He is also on the Board of various companies.
