Jason Shimamoto

Jason Shimamoto has a diverse range of work experience in finance, business development, and marketing. Jason served as the CFO at Electrum, a managed marketplace that facilitates competitive quotes from vetted installers in the energy sector. Prior to that, they held the same position at Chai Energy from 2016 to 2018. Jason also worked at DreamWorks Animation, where they held the roles of Finance & Business Development Manager and Operations & Strategic Planning Manager. Jason started their career at Southern California Edison as a Financial Analyst before transitioning to a Senior Financial Analyst role. Additionally, they gained marketing experience at Belkin.

Jason Shimamoto attended UCLA from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2007, they also briefly studied at Griffith University, focusing on Accounting and Business/Management.
