Anton van Zyl

Anton van Zyl has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anton began their career as a Player for Lions Rugby in 2006 and continued in professional rugby with WP Rugby until 2011. In 2011, they joined Stade Francais as a Professional Rugby player until 2014.

After their rugby career, Anton transitioned into the corporate world by joining Deloitte South Africa as an Articled Clerk in 2005. Anton then worked as a Trainee Accountant from 2014 to 2015 and later became a Manager in Assurance from 2015 to 2016.

From 2016, Anton took on various roles at Dimension Data Middle East and Africa. Anton first served as a Senior Commercial Manager, focusing on contract renewals and the growth of annuity revenue. In 2019, they were promoted to Regional Executive & Head of Managed Services - SA. In this role, they were responsible for sales, solutions, and services delivery across multiple regions. Anton led the Sales, Solutions, and Client Services teams and successfully grew the Annual Contract Value base.

Most recently, Anton joined Electrum in 2022 as the Head of Commercial.

Anton van Zyl's education history is as follows:

From 2003 to 2004, Anton attended Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Relations.

In 2003, Anton also attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika for a brief period and completed a Bachelor of Commerce Honors with a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (B.Compt (Hons) CTA) in the field of Accounting and Finance.

Between 1998 and 2003, Anton studied at Stellenbosch University, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree in Financial Accounting.

During their earlier years, Anton attended Rondebosch Boys' High School from 1986 to 1997. The specific degrees attained during this period are unspecified.
