Lyndon King

Lyndon King has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role was as the Head of Professional Services at Electrum, a prominent FinTech company in Cape Town, where they have been since September 2020. In this position, they oversee the provision of enterprise payment systems to various clients. Prior to this, from October 2018 to September 2020, Lyndon was the Head of IT Delivery at Virgin Active. Lyndon held multiple roles at Virgin Active, including Head of Information Systems from January 2016 to October 2018 and Software Development Manager from July 2015 to December 2015. Before their time at Virgin Active, Lyndon worked as a Software Delivery Manager at BSG from October 2013 to July 2015. Lyndon was responsible for the software development capability of the company across multiple locations. From November 2012 to September 2013, Lyndon served as a Program Manager at ACI Worldwide, coordinating projects for the Postilion and Mobile product development team. Lyndon managed a team of project managers and scrum masters during this time. Prior to ACI Worldwide, Lyndon worked at S1 Corporation, which was acquired by ACI, as a Project Manager and Scrum Master. During their tenure from 2009 to 2012, they successfully delivered several mobile and platform projects and introduced scrum methodology to the organization. Earlier in their career, Lyndon held the role of Program Manager at 24.com from April 2006 to May 2009, overseeing software development projects. Lyndon also served as a Business Analyst at Investec Asset Management, Applications Manager at Sit-up.tv, and Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young. Overall, Lyndon King possesses a wealth of experience in various roles within the technology and finance sectors.

Lyndon King attended the University of Cape Town from 1991 to 1994, where they pursued a BCom (Hons) degree. Their field of study included Information System IV and Financial Accounting III. Additionally, in June 2019, they obtained a certification in "Digital Business Strategy: Harnessing Our Digital Future" from the MIT Sloan School of Management. In November 2021, they also completed the "Scotwork Advancing Negotiation Skills Course" offered by Scotwork.
