Sebastian Rahmel

Sebastian Rahmel has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Since June 2022, they have been serving as the Head of Online Projects Portal Management and Order Management at MEDION AG. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director at encurio GmbH, starting from December 2007.

From February 2020 to June 2022, Sebastian worked at HRS Group as the Director of Product Development Search & Book. In this role, they were responsible for leading product managers and international engineering teams in developing web portals, e-commerce interfaces, and apps. Sebastian also worked on creating solutions for cloud systems on AWS and led the development of new products and modernization initiatives.

Before joining HRS Group, Sebastian held the position of Managing Director at 360° Kommunikation from February 2002 to December 2007. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager e-Commerce at MRM//McCann, where they handled project and account management for web and e-commerce projects for clients like AOL, General Motors, and Opel. Sebastian was involved in the development of innovative products such as Carweb, the first "smartphone" based online system for cars in 2001.

Sebastian also gained experience as a Consultant at more interactive (Publicis) in 2000 and Rahmel & Partner in 1998-1999.

Sebastian Rahmel attended the Westdeutsche Akademie für Kommunikation and obtained a degree in Kommunikationswirt. Communication Management in 1999. Their field of study focused on Mass Communication/Media Studies and Trade Marketing. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn in June 2022 and Data Protection Officer, Datenschutzbeauftragter from TÜV Rheinland Group in December 2018.
