Yuya Kodama

Yuya Kodama has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and research. In 2018, Yuya worked as a Molecular Discovery Co-op at Merck Exploratory Science Center, where they built a metabolite database and spectra library, developed a workflow for acquiring compound fragment spectra data, and created a Personal Compound Database and Library. In 2019, Yuya worked as a Biochemical Engineering Co-op at Clear Scientific, Inc., gaining experience in the field. From 2021 to 2023, Yuya worked as a Research Associate II at PrognomiQ Inc. Currently, Yuya is an Automation Engineer at ELEGEN.

Yuya Kodama completed their education with a High School Diploma in General Studies from Charlotte Latin School, which was earned between 2013 and 2016. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Bioengineering with a specialization in Biomedical Devices from Northeastern University, starting in 2016 and finishing in 2021. In the middle of their undergraduate studies, Yuya participated in the N.U.in Study Abroad Program in Biology at University College Dublin for the academic year 2016-2017.
