Bernie Gitmans

Bernie Gitmans is an experienced Sales Director in Brachytherapy at Elekta, holding various roles since September 2011, including Business Manager for the Brachytherapy cluster in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, as well as Account Manager for the BeNeLux region. Prior to Elekta, Bernie worked at Nucletron as a Market Development BX and Application Specialist, managing market development and providing application support on Radiotherapy treatment planning. Bernie's career began at Isodose Control B.V. as an Application Specialist, followed by a position at Instituut Verbeeten as a Specialist in Brachytherapy, where responsibilities included training apprentices and executing treatment planning. Early experience includes a role as a Nuclear Medicine Technician at Catharina Ziekenhuis Eindhoven. Bernie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy (MBRT) from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
