Hugo Gratama van Andel

Hugo Gratama van Andel has extensive experience in medical software development and engineering, currently serving as a Product Manager for Brachytherapy Software & Imaging Ring at Elekta since January 2013. In this role, Hugo has held several positions, including Senior System Engineer with a focus on the MR subsystem of the Unity MR-Linac, and has been instrumental in creating and maintaining requirements and specifications for medical device development. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Coordinator and Software Engineer at MILabs, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating research collaborations and developing imaging software. Hugo also completed a PhD in Image Processing in Vascular Computed Tomography at the Academic Medical Center-University of Amsterdam and holds an MSc in Medical Informatics from the University of Amsterdam.
