Leo Hovestadt

Leo Hovestadt has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, currently serving as Director of Governmental Affairs for Elekta since January 1999. Hovestadt actively participates in various European Commission workgroups focused on medical device software, clinical investigation, and evaluation since 2017. Additionally, Hovestadt is a member and chair of multiple workgroups within COCIR and DITTA, focusing on software, AI, and cybersecurity. As chair of the NEN Clinical Investigation workgroup, Hovestadt contributes to the ISO 14155 standards. Hovestadt is also involved with the Dutch RAPS chapter and the Dutch Artificial Intelligence clinical workgroup, while owning Raindroptime.com. Educational background includes studies at Fontys University of Applied Sciences and Eindhoven University of Technology.
