Marieke van Grootel-Rensen

Marieke van Grootel-Rensen is a seasoned professional in product marketing with a focus on linear accelerator (linac) solutions and magnetic resonance (MR) technologies. Currently serving as Global Product Marketing Manager for Linac Solutions and MR-linac at Elekta since May 2022, Marieke previously held multiple roles at Philips from December 2005 to May 2022, including Sr. Product Marketing Manager for MR Oncology and Research Scientist in Care&Health Applications. Marieke holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and completed an internship at the Burnham Research Institute in La Jolla, USA. Marieke's educational background also includes a high school exchange program at Pinetown Girls High School in South Africa.
