Michael Saracen

Michael Saracen has extensive work experience in the medical technology industry, serving in various leadership roles. Michael is currently the Vice President Clinical Engagement & Partnerships - Americas at Elekta since 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President Clinical Marketing at ViewRay, Inc. from 2012 to 2023, where they were responsible for global marketing strategies. Before joining ViewRay, Inc., they worked as the Vice President - IGRT & Advanced Robotics at CIVCO Medical Solutions from 2009 to 2012. Michael also served as the Director of Business Development and Director of Product Management at Accuray Inc. from 2005 to 2009, where they played a significant role in identifying new business opportunities and establishing a successful service business unit. Michael began their career at Accuray Inc. in 2002 as a Senior Manager and later became a Senior Product Manager, leading the development and launch of innovative patient positioning systems. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at CBYON Inc. and as a Product Manager at Radionics.

Michael Saracen has a Masters degree in Biomaterials & Artificial Organs from Brown University, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Michael also holds a BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Business from Springfield College, which they completed from 1989 to 1993.
