Mohammad Ashraful Hoque

Mohammad Ashraful Hoque, PhD, is a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Elekta since January 2022, focusing on the development and optimization of radiation therapy planning and dose calculation algorithms. Previously, Mohammad served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Helsinki from October 2013 to December 2021, where mentoring of graduate students was a key responsibility. Additional experience includes positions as a Visiting Researcher at Seoul National University and Aalto University, and a Doctoral Student at Aalto University, where research concentrated on energy modeling and efficient multimedia streaming. Earlier roles include a Research Intern at NSN - Nokia Solutions and Networks, and Assistant Manager at Bay Phones in Bangladesh, managing a team in wireless communication. Mohammad holds a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) and a Master of Science from Aalto University, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
