Pieter Janssen

Pieter Janssen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Pieter started their career as a Management Consultant/Assistant Auditor at Joanknecht & Van Zelst in 1999 before transitioning to Financial Consultant at Fagro Consultancy B.V. in 2003. In 2006, they joined Elekta as a Business Unit Controller Netherlands, where they focused on project control and financial administration. Pieter moved up the ranks within Elekta, taking on roles such as Business Controller for Northern Europe, Senior Business Controller for Emerging Markets, Director - Group Business Control & Financial Improvement Initiatives, and currently serves as the CFO/Vice President of the Business Line Linac and Software Solutions. Throughout their career, Pieter has demonstrated strengths in finance management, business control, strategy development, performance management, and driving performance cross-functionally. Pieter has excelled in driving financial improvement initiatives, implementing workflows and governance structures, and leading and motivating teams.

Pieter Janssen has an Executive Master Finance & Control (EMFC/RC) degree from Nyenrode Business University, which they obtained between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Controlling from the same university from 2009 to 2012. Pieter also has a Post HBO Financial Controller degree from Open Universiteit, acquired from 2001 to 2004. In addition, they hold a HBO - bachelor degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Fontys University of Applied Sciences, completed from 1997 to 2001. Pieter's education history began with an Athenaeum degree from Anton van Duinkerken College Veldhoven / Sondervick College, which they obtained from 1991 to 1997.
