Priya Mathew

Priya Mathew has a diverse work experience, starting from 2004 as a Master Thesis Student at the Carnegie Institution of Washington, Stanford University, where they worked on a Protein Analysis Pipeline. Priya then joined Elekta in 2005 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they played a significant role in the Meaningful Use certification of Elekta OIS - MOSAIQ system. Priya also worked on implementing various interfaces and features, such as CCDA XDR Interfaces, Electronic Prescribing, and Clinical Quality Measures. In 2015, they progressed to the role of Principal Software Engineer/ Technical Lead at Elekta, where they were primarily involved in the development and implementation of various healthcare workflows and requirements, including Australian electronic prescribing, CMS EHR Incentive programs, and integration with EquiCare Patient portal.

Priya Mathew has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University. Prior to their master's degree, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering from Government Engineering College in Trichur, India. In addition to their formal education, Priya Mathew holds certifications in The Data Science of Health Informatics and The Social and Technical Context of Health Informatics from The Johns Hopkins University. Priya is also proficient in HL7 FHIR, certified by Health Level Seven International.
