Raniel Sarmiento

Raniel Sarmiento's work experience includes a variety of roles in the healthcare and technology industries. Raniel began their career as an IT Specialist and Java Programmer at Worldwide Delivery Services from 2006 to 2009. Raniel then transitioned to the healthcare sector, working as a Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist at St. Luke's Medical Center-Global City from 2009 to 2011. Raniel continued their work as a Medical Physicist at Transmedic from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Alexandra Health Pte Ltd and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital as a Radiation Physicist until 2014. From 2014 to 2018, Raniel served as the Clinical Marketing Lead at Philips. Raniel then joined Elekta in 2018 and held various positions including Senior Manager, Business Marketing - Radiation Oncology, Region Asia Pacific; Business Line Lead and Director Business Marketing; Global Head of Commercial Strategic Partnerships; Vice President and Head of Marketing, BL Oncology Software Solutions; and currently as Vice President and Head of Sales & Marketing BL Oncology Software Solutions.

Raniel Sarmiento has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Macquarie Business School. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Applied Physics with a specialization in Medical Physics from the University of Santo Tomas. Raniel also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Physics with a major in Instrumentation Physics from the University of the Philippines.
