Tobias Hägglöv

Tobias Hägglöv is the current CFO at Elekta. Prior to this, they were Interim Senior Advisor/CFO at Empros Pharma from September 2021 to January 2022. Empros Pharma is a start-up health care company targeting overweight and obesity. Tobias was responsible for raising capital via a private placement in order to fund the remaining phases before commercialization.

From October 2018 to July 2021, Tobias was the CFO at Recipharm. Recipharm is a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) in the pharmaceutical industry employing 9,000 employees. Tobias was responsible for overall global responsibility for Finance and IT in the Group, heading an organization of approximately 50 people centrally and functional lead for another 200 people within finance and IT across the Group.

Some key achievements during Tobias’ time at Recipharm include: supporting Recipharm’s independent Board in evaluating the offer from EQT and founders; leading role when Recipharm acquired the Consort Medical Group (SEK 4 billion of sales and 2,000 employees in the UK, Italy and Germany); responsible for the refinancing of the company including SEK 12 billion of debt and completion of two share issues of SEK 2.5 billion in total; building and developing the Group Finance function with material improvements being recognized within accounting, controlling, treasury tax and internal control; setting up a new, more robust and solid organization; and developing the external financial communication including new financial targets as responsible for investor relations. Tobias was also a sponsor in implementing a new SAP

Tobias Hägglöv has a CEFA from the Diploma Program for Financial Analysts at the Stockholm School of Economics, a Degree of Master of Science in Business Administration and Economics from the Stockholm University School of Business, and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Business from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
