Eric Perakslis

Eric Perakslis is an advisor at Elektra Labs and a former Rubenstein Fellow at Duke University. Eric has also served as the Chief Science Officer at Datavant and the Senior Vice President of Informatics at Takeda Pharmaceuticals. In 2013, they were named the Executive Director of the Center for Biomedical Informatics and Countway Library of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Perakslis has a PhD in biomedical informatics from Harvard University. Eric also holds degrees in engineering and computer science from MIT.

Eric Perakslis received their PhD in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering from Drexel University. Eric also has a M.S. in Engineering from Mississippi State University and a B.S. in ChE from the University of South Alabama. Before their academic career, Eric Perakslis attended AHS for their schooling.
