Martin Nicklas

Martin Nicklas serves as the Head of the Energy Solutions Division and Business Unit Leader at EKZ, where responsibilities include overseeing a team of 130 employees focused on EPC plant construction, asset management, and O&M for B2B customers. In addition, Martin holds the position of Managing Director and Board Member at EKZ Contracting AG, managing the Energy Contracting division with up to 70 employees. As Chairman of the Board of Directors at Wärme Thalwil AG, Martin is dedicated to providing sustainable heating energy in Thalwil. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Lufft Mess-und Regeltechnik GmbH, Nicklas & Partner Consulting GmbH, BKW AG, Alstom, and research positions at the University of Oxford and DLR. Martin holds an EMBA from the University of St. Gallen and a Dr.-Ing. from RWTH Aachen University, along with degrees from the University of Stuttgart and the China Europe International Business School.
