Samo Iršič

Samo Iršič is the current Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Elektro Maribor. Prior to this, they served as the director of Purchasing and Logistics at Mariborska livarna Maribor d.d. from February 2019 to December 2021. From January 2008 to February 2019, they were the director of Purchasing, Logistics, Planning and Packaging factory at Steklarna Rogaška d.o.o., Fiskars Living Business. Iršič was also a manager of economics department at Dom Dr. Jožeta Potrča Poljčane from June 2005 to December 2007. Samo has also served as a manager of purchase department at Steklarna Rogaška d.d. from June 2003 to June 2005 and at Crouzet from November 1998 to June 2003.

Samo Iršič is a Master of Business Administration (MBA) holder with a specialty in management from IEDC - Bled School of Management. Samo also has a GMP (General Management Program) certification from the same school. Samo is currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Logistics University of Maribor. Samo completed their VII (high school equivalent) with a focus in marketing, economics from Univerza v Maribor.
