Demetrio Aiello

Demetrio Aiello has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Demetrio is currently the Vice President Product R&D at Elektrobit since July 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Artificial Intelligence at Baker Hughes from February 2020 to June 2023.

Before joining Baker Hughes, Demetrio worked at Continental for over a decade. Demetrio held several positions including Head of the Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Labs from September 2016 to January 2020, Head of Technology Development from July 2015 to August 2016, Head of the AUTOSAR Center from January 2009 to June 2015, and Manager - Software Platforms from December 2007 to January 2009.

Demetrio also has experience at SiemensVDO Automotive AG, where they worked as a Manager in the Software Platforms and Speech Processing departments from July 1999 to December 2007.

Demetrio started their career as a Research Scientist at Fondazione Ugo Bordoni from June 1996 to June 1999.
