Paul Herbert has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Paul has worked for Elektrofi since 2020 as the SVP of Pharmaceutical Development. Prior to that, they worked for Alkermes from 1993 to 2020 in various roles, including VP Process Development & Engineering and Director Process Development. As Director Process Development, they scaled up Alkermes' cryogenic microsphere process from 1 gram to 5kg, designed, built, and validated a process for producing clinical supplies, and led a team that designed, built, and validated a commercial process with fully automated CIP, SIP, and production capability.
Paul Herbert obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, followed by a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the same institution.
