Arnau Masdevall Lara has had a varied work experience. In 2019, they were an R&D Intern at the Center for Brain and Cognition, where they studied to evaluate metacognition characteristics and developed the user interface and initial data collection architecture for psychophysics experiments, ran pilot trials, and codified and analysed perceptual discrimination tasks. Arnau was also an Full Stack Development Intern at Adevinta that year, where they developed frontend and backend features for a platform that increased the productivity of engineers and developers in the company by ensuring CI/CD, making the deployment of applications easier and keeping record of all the metrics. In 2020, they were an R&D Intern at BCN-MedTech. In 2021, they worked as a Mobile Developer & Marketing Manager at LABHOUSE, where they developed full-stack mobile apps with Flutter and app releases, as well as created marketing content and managed ASO campaigns. Currently, they are a Software Developer at ELEM Biotech.
Arnau Masdevall Lara obtained a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge Assessment English in June 2014. Arnau then attended Institut Montilivi from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained their Scientific Baccalaureate. In June 2020, they obtained a Course Certificate from NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration for Using the UN Biodiversity Lab to Support National Conservation and Sustainable Development Goals. Lastly, they attended Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2016 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
