Eva Casoni has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious institutions. Eva currently holds the position of Senior Scientific Developer at ELEM Biotech, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, Eva worked at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center as a Researcher and Research Line Head of Computational Solid Mechanics from December 2012 onwards. Eva also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and AIRBUS from September 2011 to December 2012. Eva has extensive teaching experience as a Professor at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from September 2009 to September 2011, where they also obtained their PhD in Applied Mathematics from September 2005 to September 2011. Additionally, Eva worked as a Predoctoral Researcher at MIT from September 2008 to June 2009, and as a Research Assistant at Institut de Robòtica Industrial from September 2003 to July 2005.
Eva Casoni pursued their education in applied mathematics and mathematics at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. From 2000 to 2005, they obtained a Licencitaura degree in Mathematics. Afterward, from 2005 to 2011, Eva completed their Doctorate in Applied Mathematics at the same institution.
