Alfredo Mejia

Alfredo Mejia has a diverse work experience, starting at Sapphire Energy Inc. in 2009 as a Media Prep Research Technician and progressing to roles such as Media Prep Team Lead, Assistant Lab Manager, and eventually Laboratory Services Manager and Group Leader overseeing operations across multiple sites. Alfredo then moved to UNITY Biotechnology in 2016, where they served as a Laboratory, Facilities, and Procurement Manager before transitioning to Sr. Manager/Head of Business Operations. In 2020, they became an Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer at Beewise: Automated Beekeeping, working on a global business project. Finally, in 2021, Alfredo joined Element Biosciences as the Director of Business Operations. Throughout their career, Alfredo has demonstrated expertise in operations, strategic planning, and project management.

Alfredo Mejia earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology, General from San Diego State University in 2009. Alfredo later pursued a dual Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Cornell University and the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, specializing in Entrepreneurship, graduating in 2021.
