Matthew Byrne

Matthew Byrne has a diverse background in engineering, with experience at companies such as Element Biosciences, Illumina, and General Electric. Matthew has held roles ranging from Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to Associate Director of Engineering at Element Biosciences. Throughout their career, Matthew has been involved in process development, microfluidic platform design, and project management.

Matthew Byrne completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2006 to 2010. Matthew then went on to pursue their PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, graduating in 2014.
