Tom Wang

Tom Wang has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Tom is currently working at Element Energy as the Director of Systems Engineering. Previously, they served as a Senior Technical Lead Manager at Google from December 2021 to April 2023. Before that, they had a long tenure at Amazon, where they held various roles such as Manager of Hardware EE, Audio & RF Engineering, Sr. Platform Design Lead, and Sr. Platform Engineer and Power Architect. Prior to Amazon, Tom worked at Texas Instruments as a Senior Marketing Manager and Design Center Manager, where they were responsible for product proposals, revenue forecasting, and managing the China design center. Tom also worked at Micrel Semiconductor as a Sr. Manager/Strategic Applications for Power Products and at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff.

Tom Wang has a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech. Tom also has an Executive MBA in General Management from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business. Additionally, they attended Zhejiang University, but the degree and field of study are unknown.
