Laura brings a wealth of experience from more than 30 years in the finance sector. Prior to Element, Laura was Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Personal and Business Banking at CIBC.
Her tenure at CIBC also included numerous leadership positions including Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Risk Officer Managing Director & Global Head of Corporate Banking. Before joining CIBC, Laura held progressively senior roles at the National Bank of Canada in corporate banking, credit, capital markets, and risk.
Laura is a member of the Board of the C.D. Howe Institute, and a Board of Trustees member at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, among other board memberships in the community. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Western University and is fully bilingual in English and French.
