Dirk Käckenmeister, CFA, FRM

Dirk Käckenmeister has a diverse work experience in the insurance and finance industry. Dirk is currently serving as the Head of Finance at ELEMENT Insurance AG since January 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at ottonova Krankenversicherung AG and ottonova Holding AG from June 2017 to August 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the (consolidated) annual and monthly reporting for all ottonova entities, as well as investment management of the insurance entity.

Before joining ottonova, Dirk worked at Allianz SE, where they held the position of Country Manager from April 2010 to March 2016, and Controlling Specialist from January 2008 to March 2010. Dirk'searlier experience includes serving as an Accounting Specialist at Gothaer from November 2002 to December 2007. Dirk Käckenmeister is a CFA and FRM certified professional.

Dirk Käckenmeister, CFA, FRM has a comprehensive education history. Dirk obtained a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter from the CFA Institute in 2017. Dirk also holds an FRM (Financial Risk Manager) charter from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), which they obtained in 2014.

In terms of previous degrees, Dirk holds a "Bilanzbuchhalter international (IHK)" degree from IHK Köln, which they completed in 2007. Additionally, they have a Magister Artium (M.A.) degree in Philosophy and Political Science from FernUniversität in Hagen, which they earned from 2000 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplom-Kaufmann (FH) degree in Business Administration from Cologne University of Applied Sciences, specializing in Betriebswirtschaft, from 1998 to 2002.

Dirk's certifications include being a CFA Charterholder, which they obtained in June 2017 from the CFA Institute.
