Laura Kauther

Laura Kauther's work experience includes a recent role as a Commercial Director at ELEMENT Insurance AG starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they were on parental leave from June to December 2022. Laura served as the Chief Commercial Officer at SDA SE Open Industry Solutions from April 2020 to May 2022. Before that, they held positions at Coya, including Chief Operations Officer from January 2019 to March 2020, and Chief Insurance Officer / Vorstand Versicherungen from May 2018 to March 2020. Laura also worked at Zurich Gruppe Deutschland, where they held various roles such as Head of Business Transformation, Head of Direct Business Transformation, and Head of Proposition and Innovation for Global Life Middle East & Africa. Laura also worked at Scottish Widows as a Summer Intern in 2007 and had a Transaction Support - Summer Internship at Ernst & Young in the same year.

Laura Kauther obtained a Diploma in Mathematics with Business Studies from the University of Münster, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Additionally, they completed a Mathematics and Economics program at The University of Edinburgh for the academic year 2005-2006. Furthermore, they pursued an Actuary (DAV) program at the DAV - German Actuary Association from 2008 to 2010.
