Juho Lahdenpera

Juho Lahdenpera has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Juho is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Element since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Finance at Humio from 2019 to 2021, where they played a vital role in scaling the finance platform and facilitating a successful $400m exit to Crowdstrike.

From 2018 to 2019, Juho served as the CFO at Geobear Global, where they modernized the finance function and implemented standardized global finance processes. Before that, they were the CFO at Realeyes - Emotional Intelligence from 2016 to 2018, supporting a Series A fundraise and improving monthly consolidation processes.

Juho also has experience as an Independent Change Management Consultant at Eight Roads from 2014 to 2016. In their earlier career, they worked at Nomura as a Vice President in European Capital Goods Equity Research from 2010 to 2013. Juho was also part of the Global Equities COO team and served as an Associate in Global Equity Strategy and CAO, Finance and Strategy, Equities Europe.

Prior to their roles at Nomura, Juho worked at Lehman Brothers as an Associate in CAO, Finance and Strategy, Equities Europe from 2007 to 2008. Juho began their career at PwC as an Executive in Audit and Risk Assurance Services from 2003 to 2006, and later moved to the Risk Assurance Services business within the Banking and Capital Markets division.

Before their professional career, Juho worked as a Marketing and Strategy Analyst at ExxonMobil subsidiary in North Finland, where they designed a successful TV advertisement campaign.

Juho Lahdenpera began their education in 2000 at Oulun Ammattikorkeakoulu, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration in 2002. Following this, they attended Coventry University from 2001 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. In 2002, Juho pursued further education at Coventry University and completed a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance in 2003.

In terms of additional certifications, Juho acquired the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) qualification from ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) in September 2006. Juho also successfully completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program offered by the CFA Institute in December 2010.
